PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: The primary responsibility of the HomeXpress Business Systems Analyst is consulting with the business, designing solutions, and ensuring the timely implementation of business projects and business enabling technology. Deeply involved throughout the solution development lifecycle and is expected to take personal responsibility and ownership for delivery and results. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
You will be working with everyone from the executives and vendors to end users and customers, so presence, knowledge, and fit are key to be successful in this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Identify and translate business system requirements and related business/application solutions over a complete business process.
· Conduct in-depth research, interpret highly technical documents, draw valid conclusions, and provide appropriate recommendations to solve business problems.
· Perform GAP analysis to identify gaps between current and desired states of business processes and systems.
· Create user stories to capture requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable tasks for development teams.
· Document business processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, etc.
· Be a strategic partner and liaison between the user community and the technical applications development staff (may include offshore staff).
· Define business processes, ensure system alignment, and resolve system problems to ensure customer processes run smoothly.
· Drive process improvement and optimization initiatives across teams and the organization.
· Participate in Agile ceremonies like backlog grooming, sprint planning, and coordinate the full software delivery lifecycle.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· 5+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst or adjacent role in the Mortgage industry. Experience must include working independently on large and complex projects that built or enhanced production systems.
· 5+ years of experience in mortgage industry – knowledge/expertise in mortgage origination, post-closing, and secondary marketing is required. Advanced knowledge of process and nomenclature and rules and regulations surrounding the industry
· Direct experience/expertise with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) – preferably BytePro
· Direct experience/expertise with other core mortgage systems including product, pricing & eligibility systems (PPE), automated underwriting systems (AUS) and integrations, mortgage servicing systems, etc.
· Demonstrated ability to work closely with the Domain Product Owner, across multiple teams and a wide customer base
· Hands-on experience in working with API’s
· Experience in working with Postman or other API tools
· Excellent organizational and project management skills
· Ability to organize large amounts of information and glean insights, define problems, and identify root causes
· Strong written and oral communication skills to define business and technical parameters and lead team to meet business requirements
EDUCATION:
· High school diploma or general education experience (GED) required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· This position is in an office setting with computer and general office equipment. The position requires the ability to move freely around within the department and other department locations.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
