Our client is in need of a SharePoint Architect to design, implement, and manage SharePoint solutions that meet the business needs of our organization. The candidate will be responsible for leading the architecture and design of SharePoint environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of SharePoint projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Foster an environment of teamwork, compliance and continual improvement

- Ensure compliance with departments standard procedures
- Solution Design and Architecture:
o Lead the design and architecture of SharePoint solutions based on business requirements
o Create custom web parts and workflows
o Write custom code following development standards
o Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems and applications
o Develop a plan for migrating existing K2 workflows to the new system
o Develop comprehensive SharePoint architectures that align with organizational goals and standards
- Implementation and Configuration:
o Oversee the implementation and configuration of SharePoint environments
o Customize and extend SharePoint functionalities to meet specific business needs
o Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of SharePoint solutions
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
o Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into SharePoint solutions
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and business analysts, to ensure seamless integration of SharePoint solutions
- Governance and Best Practices:
o Establish and enforce SharePoint governance policies and best practices
o Provide guidance on SharePoint development and implementation standards
- Troubleshooting and Support:
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint environments
o Provide expert-level support for end-users and address technical challenges
o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SharePoint architectures, configurations, and processes
o Develop training programs to educate users on SharePoint features
o Train and mentor team members on SharePoint best practices

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a SharePoint Architect with a strong background in solution design and implementation
- Proven experience in Power Apps and Power Automate
- Proven experience in K2 Five
- Proven experience working with databases
- Experience with JavaScript, C#, HTML and CSS
- In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and related technologies
- Proficiency in SharePoint development tools, including SharePoint Designer, Power Platform, and Visual Studio
- Strong understanding of SharePoint security and governance principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and lead architecture discussions
Preferred
- Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer or Architect certifications
- Experience with SharePoint migration projects
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and integration with SharePoint
- Familiarity with modern SharePoint development frameworks
- Strong understanding of change control processes, ability to manage time effectively and strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize diverse support requests and work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $64.00 per hour
