In keeping with our organization’s goal of improving the lives of the Residents we serve, the Regional Human Resource Department oversees the day-to-day HR operations of all facilities in our family, they are responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources function. We need an organized, self driven, and reliable individual that will provide assistance to the Regional Director of Human Resources. We want a professional who has a desire to learn and grow with our company as well, as be able to effectively and efficiently communicate with the Administrative and Regional teams at all times.
There will be daily travel to all of our 9 facilities.

1. Communicates changes in personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed.
2. Conduct various HR audits when visiting facilities.
3. Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures compliance.
4. May work with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
5. May assist department managers with disciplinary procedures and ensures disciplinary actions are administered fairly and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
6. Assists in establishing and maintaining filing system for the HR Department in the facilities.
7. Maintains the comfort, privacy and dignity of residents and interacts with them in a manner that displays warmth, respect and promotes a caring environment.
8. Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with residents, guests, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
9. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and in-services as directed.
Work Environment
This job operates in a health care setting. This role requires regular walking to various locations around the facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This role may also come into contact with Residents who may have contagious illnesses.
Physical Demands while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This position is part of a health care facility that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Evening and weekend work as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.

Daily.

Experience in an H.R. setting preferred
