R&D Thermal Engineer

Accelsius is looking for an R&D Thermal Engineer to aid in the development of advanced two-phase cooling products for the data center cooling market. The right candidate will be highly innovative, hands-on, and possess strong communication skills. We are currently envisioning the R&D Thermal Engineer candidate to be entry level, having recently completed an M.S. or Ph.D. related to the thermo-fluid sciences. However, all experience levels will be considered. A background building and testing hardware related to two-phase heat transfer (boiling, condensation, thermosyphons, pumped two-phase cooling, heat pipes, etc.) is strongly preferred. This position will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
Role Responsibilities:

Design, build, and test two-phase cooling products for data centers

Draft proposals, write papers, present research findings at conferences

Develop advanced concepts for two-phase cooling and author patent applications
Qualifications for this role include:

0 to 3 years of experience in industry

Well-rounded Thermo-fluids background: both modeling and experimental experiences

M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Chemical engineering, or any other heat transfer related discipline

Post Doctoral experience is a plus, but not mandatory
