KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
- As a therapy clinic receptionist your main responsibilities are checking patients in and out of the office, scheduling appointments, assisting with billing and insurance, and maintaining accurate medical records. Your duties and responsibilities also include answering phones, greeting patients with a welcoming demeanor, and answering questions about patient care or treatment when possible. You prepare client charts, clean the reception area, and maintain office inventory. Protecting patient confidentiality is a significant part of the job, meaning you must abide by federal HIPAA regulations.
