Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to patients of all ages. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the evaluation and assessment of patients' functional abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, sensory integration, and daily living activities
- Monitor and document patients' progress during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for continued progress at home
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of occupational health principles and practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience in acute care settings, including medical imaging and pediatric care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges during therapy sessions
Requirements:
- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong commitment to patient care and ethical practice

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
