Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee our company's financial management
and reporting. The Controller will be responsible for managing our financial operations,
developing and monitoring budgets, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial
reports. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in financial
management and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:
Manage the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and cash management
Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual
financial statements
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Oversee the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial
professionals
Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and
accuracy
Review and approve the work of other workers whose work impacts the financial
information
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
CPA or CMA certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management with accounting focus
Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
Proficient in accounting software and financial reporting tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Willing to travel quarterly to attend leadership offsite meetings; additional travel may be required as needed
Key Performance Indicators:
The following KP ls will be used to measure the effectiveness of the Controller:
1. Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports
2. Gross profit margin against target
3. Budget variance analysis and effective corrective action
4. Accounts receivable: DSO and percent past due of 25% or less
5. Effective performance of assigned staff
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
