This shipping team member's primary role is to use an RF Gun and different Hi-lo’s to pick, pack and prepare LTL shipments. Secondary roles are product moves, loading and unloading trucks, assisting with receiving responsibilities and E-comm picking. You should be comfortable with heights as one of our forklifts is an order picker that you rise with the platform to perform picks from locations up to 25’ in height. SUMMARY
This position is responsible for ensuring timely picking, packaging, routing and delivery of customer orders while striving for a 100% level of accuracy.
CORE DUTIES
SHIPPING/RECEIVING
-
Accuracy of processing shipping including rating and shipping terms.
-
Ensure proper labeling of product for shipping.
-
Execute proper packaging and skid preparation of product to ensure economical and secure delivery.

Inspection of picked product for potential damage.
-
Light assembly of customizable product as needed.
-
Maintenance and execution of customer specific shipping instructions.
-
Manage dock schedule with carriers & customers for pickup & delivery.
-
Picking and preparation of product for customer samples per sales request.
-
Proper mode selection for shipping of product.
-
Proper processing of work orders for custom products.
-
Properly count and process receiving paperwork.
-
Properly handle incorrectly shipped goods from RGA process.
-
Properly handle of necessary paperwork for shipment.
-
Properly load truck freight.
-
Properly process and stage inter-facility transfers.
-
Properly route and process RGA product.
-
Put away product accurately and in a timely fashion.
-
Respond appropriately to corrective actions from customers.
-
Safely operate sit down and stand-up forklifts.
-
Strive for 100% on-time delivery and picking accuracy of customer orders.

Track and route product samples to Sales, Engineering & Quality.
-
Other duties as required.
INVENTORY
-
Maintain bin locations for product in the facility
-
Take steps to maintain high level of product preservation.
-
Administer cycle counts on daily basis, coordinating information with inventory control.
-
Execute timely and accurate inventory paperwork.
-
Identify and report to Purchasing any shortages or obsolete product.
-
Identify and report to Quality any product defects or performance issues.
OTHER
-
Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures. Report any unsafe condition/behavior.

Keep all equipment and tools in good working order and return them to designated storage area.
-
Maintain a high level of teamwork.

Maintain warehouse in a neat, organized fashion.
-
Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.

Secure product and facilities.
-
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

At least 1 year experience driving sit down and stand up forklifts.

At least 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving,
-
High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
Previous experience using MRP systems for shipping and receiving functions.

Previous experience with UPS and on-line Federal Express systems,
-
RF gun experience.
-
Ability to obtain a forklift license.
-
Basic computer skills including MS Word, Outlook and Excel.

Basic math skills.
-
Data entry skills.

Good driving record.

Use of hand, power and pneumatic tools.
-
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Able to stand 8-10 hours.

Able to operate a forklift up to 10 hours.
