Primary Job Function: To provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards while providing the customer with a high quality experience. Assist with training Apprentice Service Technicians. Provide feedback to Service Manager regarding technical training as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- 2 or more years of residential HVAC service experience
- Demonstrate willingness to invest time in service training seminars and classes.
- Work from 12' step ladder.
- Comfortable with troubleshooting and repair of forced air furnaces
- Understand and communicate benefits of preventative maintenance.
- Able to demonstrate advanced customer service skills and have ability to communicate clearly, idea's and explanations of problems to residential and commercial customers and coworkers
- Comfortable utilizing technology to process customer data onsite
- Desire to offer exceptional customer care
- Desire to educate customers about the value and options the company can offer them.
- Experience with residential boilers is a plus
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License or willingness to pursue this within 1 year
- NATE certification or willingness to pursue this within 1 year
Pay Scale: $45,000 - $100,000+/Annual - Based on experience with extensive bonus opportunities
Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, alternating on-call schedule approximately 6-9 times per year to cover 24/7 emergency service; some weekends and evenings based on customer needs.
