Manage and oversee Loco Social team members, opening and closing of the restaurant, and ensuring our guests experience hospitality from the moment they arrive. The Loco Social Manager is a versatile role fulfilling various needs as they arise including supervising team members, working as a cashier and barista, as well as supporting the culinary team through preparing and serving delicious food according to Loco Social’s standards and recipes.
Job Summary
Oversee, direct, and coordinate the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders
- Delegate tasks to the team and provide follow-up
- Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
- Ensure the team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
- Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and security standards are met
- Staff and schedule appropriately to member volume
- Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place
Qualifications
- Open and weekend availability
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with members and co-workers
- Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and EPIC culture
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, guest-focused restaurant
- Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
- Past leadership and event experience are a plus, restaurant experience is required.
