Summary
As a Intake Clinician, you will be responsible for excelling in the ability to lead, mentor, communicate, and supervise other clinicians in both the assessment and treatment planning for patients, contributing to the clinic’s client centered care model. You will conduct on-site and remote intake sessions for potential Athena clients.
Status: Full-Time (In-Person, Manhattan Office)
Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with the Clinical Director and other intake workers to ensure day to day admission operations are successful
- Provide on-site in person and virtual intake session with all prospective Athena Clients
- Responsible for collecting client information, documentation and determining client needs
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team in assessing the level of care, planning admission schedule, and communicating case formulation and clinical recommendations
- Ensure all proper intake assessments and documentation is completed by assigned deadlines
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field required.
- Requires NYS licensure as a mental health practitioner (e.g., LCSW Credentials). LMSW candidates who are close to receiving their "C" will also be considered.
- At least two years of clinical experience is preferred.
- Leadership competency to supervise clinicians is required.
- Bilingual (Spanish) required
