Here's what you'd do:
- Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of company products in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Products are primarily CCAs and PWBs; any defects are reviewed by the engineers, who dispose of them.
- The quality of the top-level assembly could also be reviewed before it is shipped to the customer.
- Performs analysis on reported nonconformities and discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical systems, and field data.
- Further investigate the cause for discrepancies and nonconformities to develop disposition and recommend corrective action plans.
- Leads material review board, Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and ZDP (Zero Defect Plans) activities.
- Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
- Serves as the primary interface to customers and suppliers for quality-related matters.
- May manage projects or processes with general supervision.
- Communicate with contacts inside and outside the department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.
- Recommends enhancements to systems and processes.
- Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with a moderate impact on departmental results.

- Length: Temp (12 Months).
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years experience in quality engineering (Industrial or Manufacturing Electrical components engineering).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Capable of dispositioning electrical/PWB/SMT hardware related defects against IPC standards/criteria.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in J-Standards
- Minimum of 5 years experience in practical project management.
