Job Title: Landscape Foreman
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping team in the installation of new landscapes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in landscaping, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. The Landscape Foreman will oversee all aspects of landscape installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the installation of new landscapes from start to finish, ensuring all tasks are completed according to design plans and specifications.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the landscaping crew, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets quality standards and client expectations, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Resource Management: Manage the inventory of plants, materials, and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and proper usage.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any challenges or obstacles that arise during the installation process.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Landscape Foreman or similar role in landscape installation.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape design plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and operate landscaping equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
