Purchasing Assistant Job Description
6 Months contract to hire position!
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for excellent customer service?
We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join our client's team! In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth procurement of medical products and services.
About the Role:
- You will process requisitions, source products daily, negotiate with vendors, and place purchase orders.
- You will ensure timely confirmations and follow up on orders to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- You will also work on resolving invoice discrepancies and assist Accounts Payable with any issues.
- This is a full-time, onsite position (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM).
Key Qualifications:
- Must-have computer skills including proficiency in keyboarding, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A strong eye for detail and the ability to follow through on tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $14.80 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
