JOB SUMMARY
Blue Mountain Construction Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee and manage our fleet operations. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our vehicle fleet, including maintenance, procurement, safety, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management within the construction industry, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Incumbent must have the skills, ability, and judgment to perform the following essential job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and operational.
- Develop and implement fleet management strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize fleet performance.
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure the availability and allocation of vehicles as per project requirements.
- Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and inspections of all vehicles to ensure they are safe and in good working condition.
- Manage relationships with external service providers for repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Evaluate the need for new vehicles and make recommendations for procurement.
- Manage the acquisition and disposal of fleet vehicles in accordance with company policies and budget constraints.
- Ensure all vehicles are properly registered, licensed, and insured.
- Ensure all fleet operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols for vehicle operation and maintenance.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions for drivers and fleet personnel.
- Develop and manage the fleet budget, including expenses related to fuel, maintenance, repairs, and procurement.
- Monitor and report on fleet expenses, seeking cost-saving opportunities wherever possible.
- Implement and utilize fleet management software to track and report on fleet performance metrics.
- Generate regular reports on fleet utilization, maintenance, and operational efficiency.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in fleet management technology.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably within the construction industry.
- Certification in fleet management (CFM) or related certifications is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of fleet management best practices and industry standards.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficient in the use of fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- This position requires a combination of office work and on-site visits to various project locations.
- The Fleet Manager may be required to work outside of regular business hours to address urgent fleet issues.

In addition to base salary, this job may be eligible to participate in our corporate discretionary bonus program, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar industry companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.
The base pay range for this position is: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00.
