We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join our dynamic team for the 2024-2025 school year, running from September 2024 to June 2025. This role offers the potential for contract renewal based on performance and the chance to be part of our vibrant music program. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and nurturing their musical talents through various music clubs and activities.
Who We're Looking For:
- Availability: Weekdays between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
- Qualifications: At least an associate degree with a minimum of two years of experience in an educational setting.
- Musical Skills: Proficient in leading music activities for elementary-aged students and capable of teaching instruments such as piano, guitar, etc.
- Classroom Management: Demonstrates strong classroom and behavioral management skills, with excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Creativity: Innovative in developing interactive, age-appropriate activities that engage and inspire children.
- Team Player: A collaborative individual who thrives in a dynamic school environment and interacts effectively with diverse groups.
- Responsiveness: Consistently responsive via email and committed to building lasting relationships.
- Passion: Naturally engaging, approachable, and passionate about child education.
Your Role:
- Learning Environment: Lead a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
- Activity Planning: Create and execute weekly activity plans tailored to music education.
- Skill Development: Foster skill development with fun, educational activities.
- Program Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including snack times, transitions, and dismissals.
- Classroom Management: Apply effective classroom and behavioral management strategies.
- Program Involvement: Contribute actively to all aspects of the program to ensure safety and promote student involvement.
- Meetings and Events: Attend meetings, training sessions, and special events as required.
- Role Modeling: Serve as a positive, adaptable role model for our students.
- Resource Management: Efficiently manage program resources.
