Role Overview:
As a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) at our facility, you will play a crucial role in transforming the lives of our patients. Working under the direct supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will assist in delivering top-notch therapeutic care, helping patients regain independence through meaningful daily activities. Your compassion and expertise will contribute to creating a positive and empowering rehabilitation experience.

Essential Qualifications:
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
- Current COTA license.
- Current CPR certification.
Preferred:
- Six months of experience in a long-term care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer therapeutic treatment programs with specific, patient-centered goals under physician guidance.
- Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises outlined in treatment plans developed in collaboration with an Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation, and monitoring of patient progress.
- Instruct patients and families in home programs, basic living skills, and the use of adaptive equipment.
- Ensure consistent and punctual attendance to meet the needs of our patients and team.
Other Duties:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services as per physician orders.
- Adapt therapy interventions continually to achieve set goals.
