Position: Client Onboarding Manager
Job Overview
The Client Onboarding Manager plays a vital role in building strong relationships with our clients, driving client satisfaction, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. The primary focus will be on enhancing the overall client experience and day-to-day operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Responsibilities
Client Experience
- Lead the client onboarding process for treasury services, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from initiation to successful implementation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client’s needs, offering personalized solutions, and resolving service deficiencies promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive product training to both clients and team members.
Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on the latest developments and enhancements to the bank’s treasury products and services, becoming an internal subject matter expert.
- Assist with the training of team members to ensure they are fully informed about the features, benefits, and best practices related to our suite of deposit products and services.
- Collaborate with department leadership to identify opportunities for product improvement based on client feedback and market trends.
Day-to-Day Operations
- Communicate directly with clients to perform account opening, platform demonstrations/training, answer difficult questions, identify and explain documentation requirements, escalate sensitive requests.
- Conduct initial review and analysis of new accounts and relationships in support of the banks KYC/AML regulatory compliance policies and programs including analyzing documentation received and requested during the application review and provisioning process.
- Ensure the efficient and accurate execution of day-to-day treasury operations, including but not limited to transaction processing, fund transfers, digital banking support, wire transfers, and treasury-related inquiries.
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains, working with internal teams to implement enhancements that positively impact the client experience.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in banking operations, treasury operations, cash management, or related roles.
- Bachelors’ degree preferred, but not required.
- In-depth knowledge of treasury products and services, account opening procedures, and cash management processes.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices related to treasury operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
