Duties
- Greet and welcome clients and potential clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person or department
- Provide accurate information to clients and potential clients of our services.
- Assist with general office tasks such as filing and organizing documents
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in computerized systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Practice Panther or other legal software is a plus
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Previous experience in a law office setting is preferred but not required
- Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute
- Strong customer support skills with the ability to handle inquiries or complaints professionally
- Proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in written communication

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
