Maintenance Technician
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role will be maintaining and repairing industrial food production machinery for Awakened Foods.
This position requires an individual who:
Is quick-thinking - Are you a puzzle person? Sometimes productions issues are like giant puzzles that need creative problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone who can work through a problem and find hidden solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (this is not all-encompassing):
· Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery.
· Perform unscheduled downtime repairs. Repair or replace defective equipment parts, and reassemble equipment.
· Maintain logs of both preventative and routine maintenance.
· Maintain spare parts inventory program; including parts ordering.
· Maintain library of machinery operation manuals.
· Provide oversight and training for tear down, clean-up, reassemble of machinery for changeovers.
· Coordinate maintenance vendors to handle any facility breakdown.
· General housekeeping of the maintenance and tool storage area.
· Other miscellaneous maintenance and construction projects as necessary.
· Provide employee training for production machinery operation.
· Work directly on production line when necessary.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or GED, technical degree is a plus
· 2+ years experience with automated machinery
· High knowledge and skill of mechanical operations.
· Experience with welding and working with pneumatic systems is required.
· Experience working with control panels, relays, electrical panels and compressors is a plus
· Strong math skills, experience working with fractions and decimals
· Basic knowledge of computer systems and data entry
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Reliable transportation
· Positive and professional attitude
· Must be able to climb ladders and perform overhead work
· Ability to lift 50lbs and be on your feet for most of the workday
· Work in Loveland, CO
· Ability to be on call, work long shifts, nights and weekends when needed (special events, not regularly scheduled)
Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and accuracy.
Range of $24.00/hr - $31.00/hr

8:00am to 5:00pm, May Vary
