Drive operational performance through overseeing the analysis, development, and execution of Purchase Orders for services, equipment, and supplies. Conduct daily/weekly meetings with buyers and schedulers to address supply issues and maintain inventory control. Cultivate a culture of compliance by adhering to guidelines and procedures, setting an example, and emphasizing risk assessment and mitigation.
Ensure adequate staffing, development, and training of buyers to mitigate risks and plan for succession. Set goals, objectives, and strategies for staff, prioritizing based on established objectives. Continuously improve purchasing processes through personal development and enrichment.
Establish and maintain a certified/approved purchasing system consistent with ongoing development. Ensure all cost, pricing, contract flow downs, and purchasing activities comply with regulations. Provide strategic leadership to drive cost reductions as a percentage of revenue.
Efficiently collaborate with engineering on analyzing and implementing engineering changes, new product introductions, and end-of-life products. Lead proposal pricing activities for purchased products. Manage supplier relationships, particularly with key suppliers, by establishing processes for buyer engagement and monitoring supplier performance.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
