Clinical Research Co-Coordinator
Women’s Cancer Care Associates is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to join their well established and active Research Department at their Albany, NY practice site.
A CRC manages and directs the timely handling of all components of clinical research protocols. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the implementation and conduct of multiple Phase II and Phase III research projects.
- Interacting with potential and enrolled study participants, including explaining research studies for initial enrollment, obtaining informed consent, and addressing questions.
- Coordinating daily operations of open studies including screening, and scheduling.
- Corresponding with study participants.
- Participating in all aspects of data management, including collection, coding, and entry of study data.
- Maintaining regulatory binders, case report forms, source documents, and other regulatory study documents; responding to queries.
- Maintain inventory of study medications.
- Act as site point for sponsor visits/ monitors
- Ensuring compliance with goals and objectives of research protocols and with state and federal regulatory guidelines.
Please note this is not a data analyst or lab position.
Qualifications:
BS in Nursing, Health Science or a Health-related field; or equivalent in education, training or experience.
Experience in a clinical research/ medical setting: knowledge of research protocols and procedures, screening, interviewing, CAS report forms, eCRF’s. Oncology research preferred.
Knowledge of federal regulations and IRB’s.
Familiarity with medical terminology, Centrifugation and Aliquoting blood.
Organized Multi- tasker with exceptional interpersonal skills, effective oral and written communications and attention to detail.
Ability to work as a member of a team. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.
