UPCYCLE is an ELECTRONIC WASTE RECYCLING firm. Currently UPCYCLE has 5 facilities on the East Coast, covering from South Carolina to Maine, and runs 15-20 Trucks per day. As we expand both our fleet and our physical footprint, we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator/ Scheduler to join our team during this very exciting time in our company's growth.
UPCYCLE utilizes our fleet of 26 ‘ box trucks with lift gates to perform LTL pick ups/White Glove Liquidation services for our customers, ranging from small private schools to large healthcare facilities. Each truck operates with 2 team members, who are tasked with physically loading all equipment onto our trucks. The loading process consists of centralizing, creating inventory lists and BOLs, and safely and securely stacking, wrapping, boxing and palletizing the equipment on our trucks for transportation back to the nearest warehouse location. Our removal team's primary goal is to provide great customer service by assuming responsibility for the physical part of the disposal, while transporting the equipment we pickup back to our warehouses in the same condition they found it (no damage or destruction in packing or loading). Each truck typically performs 2-4 stops per day.
The schedule is fluid and fast moving, and requires fast paced decision making and communication in order to maximize profits. Variables that affect the creation of routes and schedules include:
- Customer Request and Availability
- Quantity of Equipment to be Picked Up
- Value of Equipment to be Picked Up
- Geographical Location
- Work Load
- Travel Time
- Other Stops in the area
- Our Warehouse Needs
- Our Personnel Variables
- Type of Customer (Size and Quality)
Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Daily Routing and Scheduling for all of our vehicles
- Maximize efficiency in routing through use of mapping tools, EDL system, and proprietary scheduling software
- Maximize efficiency in scheduling through general understanding of our operational capacity
- Daily Communication with Business Development and Account Management Teams to assure efficient routing and scheduling
- Assist in Customer Experience improvement as it relates to logistics and pickup procedures
- Deep understanding of company goals and the value of each pickup and aligning UPCYCLES trucking schedule with those goals
This is a high paced fluid position that requires an individual who can think on their feet, utilize technology (CRM, Routing Programs, etc.) and possess the ability to interact with a wide variety of people successfully.
There will be an extensive training program offered so industry specific experience is not required.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
