Target hiring pay range: $17.39 - $21.74 per hour
Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to assist Atlanta Postal Credit Union to live out our Mission, “To help our members achieve financial success by providing exceptional products and service.”
The Lending Fulfillment Representative proactively engages the establishment of member accounts for lending applicants and in providing quality-driven services and support. This includes, but not limited to, engaging in dialogue to ensure timely onboarding of the share account, attentiveness to opportunities for placement of ancillary products and services, and accountability for the overall member experience.

Completes the opening of new member (share) accounts for lending applicants in conjunction with loan underwriting and processing activities.

As required or needed, assists lending applicants and existing members with changes and updates on their accounts; Sets up share/loan allocations for accounts.

Promptly and efficiently ensures that the onboarding and establishment of new accounts.

Completes a variety of service requests, clerical duties, and research associated with the resolution of lending applicant inquiries and concerns regarding their share account or the products or services offered by APCU.

Maintains up to date knowledge of the products and services offered by the credit union.

Engages in needs-based dialogue with existing members, and during the establishment of share accounts for loan applicants, to fully understand the member’s financial needs.

Routinely engages in outbound calling activities for the purposes of proactively identifying additional or newly recognized member needs, expanding the member relationship, and assessing opportunities to expand the member relationship through positioning of products and services that benefit the member and help them achieve their financial goals

Uses strong interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and engaging communication skills to understand member financial needs and financial goals; actively presents ancillary products and services that meet members’ needs and enhances their ability to meet their financial goals.

Facilitates the ability for the member to speak with internal business partners for resolution of inquiries and concerns that can’t be resolved by yourself.

Maintains positive and productive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Attend ongoing training as needed, including on and off-site workshops and webinars to maintain a high level of knowledge related to needs-based selling, compliance, and account opening procedures, and product knowledge.

As applicable to departmental assignments, adheres to the provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Military Lending Act (MLA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), and other state and federal regulations associated with the granting of credit to consumers,

Complies with all aspects of BSA/AML and OFAC regulations as they relate to this position.

The ability to travel overnight or to other business locations less than 5%.

REQUIRED Education and/or Experience:

Requires a level of knowledge normally gained with a high school diploma or equivalent.

2 years transactional work experience in banking, financial services, or a credit union
-
10-Key calculator, typing and keying skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
PREFFERED Education and/or Experience:
-
An associate degree in business management, Business Administration, or related field of study or 2 years of additional specific work experience in lieu of degree
-
2 years specific member facing work experience within a Credit Union
-
Prior experience completing transactions in Symitar, and Meridian Link
Physical Job Requirements:
Must be physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines such as calculator, computer, printer, facsimile, telephone, copier, etc. Must be able to stand, bend and stoop as needed. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of 5 to 25 pounds.
