Qualifications
The Kitchen Manager qualifications must meet or exceed state licensing requirements for the position. A food handler’s certification, proficient skills with kitchen equipment, knowledgeable in local Health Department regulations and standards, and experience in large volume facilities such as schools, elderly care, health care, catering and/or banquets. Kitchen Management experience is required.
Job Summary
The Kitchen Manager will oversee the organization and operations of the kitchen. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for all areas of the kitchen including food prep, family style service, assisting with ordering and inventory, dish washing and overall food safety as well as, maintaining a kitchen that is organized, efficient, at the highest level of safety and cleanliness standards.
