In our time of Company growth, we are seeking an OB Coordinator.
Work Location(s): Onsite (MCR Health OB/GYN Locations & Local Hospitals)
As part of this role, you will:

Ensure OB charts are updated regularly

Track MCR patients' pregnancies from pregnancy confirmation and continue through the first
six weeks of the postpartum period -
Perform post-delivery rounding at local hospitals, ensuring patients delivered by MCR OB/GYN
Providers are scheduled for postpartum appointments and newborns are scheduled newborn visit
appointments, upon hospital discharge
- Reschedule missed postpartum and newborn visit appointments
- Provide education in the areas of prenatal and postpartum to ensure patients have a healthy
pregnancy and the postpartum period -
Produce and work on various reports related to prenatal, postpartum, and newborn patients and
the quality care provided by MCR OB/GYN Providers

HS Diploma/GED, required

One of the following required:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with 2+ years clinical experience or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with 3+ years clinical experience, experience strongly preferred in OB/GYN

If clinically licensed - Licensed RN/LPN in good standing with the Florida Board of Nursing required
- 2+ years' experience using an electronic health record (EHR) software system required (Athena experience a plus)

Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute Required

Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred and general computer usage

Valid driver's license required with the ability to move between locations as needed (with mileage reimbursement)

Excellent listening and interpersonal skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks

Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
The OB Coordinator is responsible for carrying out the primary functions of OB tracking, providing prenatal/postpartum patient education, and the overall enhancement of quality and patient-centered OB care throughout the patients' pregnancy and postpartum period.
