Trimlite is looking for a self-motivated and results-driven on-site Vice President & General Manager to direct and manage our BHI Doors business activities. This role is an exciting leadership position within our growing distribution business reporting to our CEO. Duties will include allocating budget resources, formulating policies/procedures, coordinating business operations, growing and motivating staff, managing operational costs, engaging customers & ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities.
Candidates must have demonstrated success excelling in customer facing roles (engaging internal and external customers) and serving as a change agent to drive culture and achieve organizational objectives and initiatives.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful production and distribution of components and added-value systems offered by BHI Doors.
- Manage and evaluate leadership, determine gaps, and hire talent.
- Maintain and improve upon the service standards set forth by BHI Doors.
- Responsible for ensuring that all products continuously meet the required quality standards of Trimlite.
- Develop a best-in-class safety organization.
- Support development of manufacturing systems and processes and promote their adherence.
- Build and reinforce a strong culture for the business.
- Set sales & customer service goals that support the corporate annual operating plan and budget.
- Set production goals for each department and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
- Assess, measure, and track productivity effectiveness, and establish metrics for measuring results.
- Oversee human resources functions for recruitment, employee discipline, development, and advancement adherent to corporate policy and procedure.
- Work with department leaders to mentor and train personnel.
- Improve the organization by creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Create an open and empowering environment that supports a culture of inclusion and growth.
- Follow corporate goals and strategies as provided and laid out by the SMT Group.
- Plan, organize, and supervise all business operations to accomplish corporate objectives.
Requirements and Experience
- 7-10 years of demonstrated progressive leadership/management experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to understand complex needs and distill those requirements throughout the organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High organizational abilities.
- Computer literacy.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
- Sense of urgency to provide excellence in customer service.
- Caring, attentive and responsible professional who can work under pressure efficiently.
- Ability to maneuver through databases.
- Solid track record of utilizing continuous improvement tools to achieve operations excellence.
- Experience with Total Quality Management and/or implementing quality management programs.
- Prior profit & loss responsibility a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
