Colorado Occupational Medical Partners is seeking a full-time front office medical assistant to join our team. As the front office medical assistant, you will be responsible for all medical reception duties as well as providing clinical support to the providers as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Telephone reception
- Appointment scheduling
- Chart prepping
- All reception duties
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document basic medical history.
- Perform drug and breath alcohol testing in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Will perform a variety of components to physical exams such as venipuncture, immunizations/injections, spirometry, and audio/vision screenings.
- Report results in a timely manner
- Perform other position -related duties as assigned
Skills:
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and coworkers.
- Must be a team player and be willing to assume additional duties as needed.
- Experience in occupational medicine is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be detail oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
