Our client, a national real estate investment and management emporium with offices in Puerto Rico, is hiring an Accountant & Office Administrator who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and record financial transactions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable, reconciliations and reporting.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting principles.
- Ensure compliance with Puerto Rico regulations and reporting requirements.
- Assist with office management duties as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2+ years of experience as bookkeeping, junior accountant, or similar position.
- Expert in QuickBooks
- Working knowledge of Swyft software preferred
- Fluency in both English and Spanish languages.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
