We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Dog Daycare Team Member. As a Dog Daycare Team Member, you will be responsible for providing care and assistance to animals in our facility. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in understanding dog psychology, dog training, animal care, shelter, and customer service.

Must be comfortable with dogs and we can teach you the rest! We will teach you on how to handle dogs in a calm manner. We are Pack Leaders and we follow Cesar Millan's philosophy on dog psychology to better understand how to set each dog up for success. We are an upscale training center and pet resort located in Hudson Bend, TX. We are committed to teaching each staff member to handle dogs in a way that creates balance and harmony in the center and the play yards. A simple yet profound way to to teach confidence and to earn trust, love and respect with the dogs.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Previous canine handling experience is a huge plus!
- Working a year or longer at previous employer is huge plus!
- Doggy Daycare, boarding or shelter experience handling dogs earns you more starting wage. Be ready to show us your handling skills in the interview!
We are looking for the right fit to settle in with our fun, animal loving culture. Someone that pays attention to detail, takes direction well and can have fun with dogs and the team all while doing a great job cleaning, watching dogs in a play group and making sure safety and health are number one for each animal in our care. We also have a Sanctuary so helping with goats, chickens, pigs and a lamb is part of the job. We feed and clean up the sanctuary and give the farm animals attention as well.
Our Pet Resort consists of day care, training, boarding and grooming services (not full grooming services). We want to hire people that make a difference in this world with a positive attitude to care for the animals with compassion and confidence. We make sure the wellness of each animal is met with the highest standards. We communicate as a team to ensure everyone is healthy and happy or we figure out as a team to make it better for each animal in our care. Communication is super important!

We work holidays, weekends, days and nights. We start at 6:00 AM and the PM shift ends at 8PM. So we offer different shifts to meet the demand of the number of dogs in our care. We are open Monday through Sunday.
If you are OK with being on your feet for hours, hustling, rain or sun, hot days or cold days, dog kisses, mud, feces, pee and lots of cleaning and loving on dogs and cats, as well as farm animals then please apply. This is not a glamorous job but a very rewarding one as we also foster cats and dogs and rehabilitate them and find them loving homes.
Duties:
- Handle and care for animals in a compassionate and professional manner
- Provide basic obedience training to dogs
- Assist with pet grooming and bathing
- Clean and maintain kennels and animal living areas
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals
- Assist with animal restraint during nail trims
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners
Experience:
- Previous experience in dog handling, animal care, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of basic dog training techniques
- Familiarity with pet grooming practices is a plus
- Experience working in a veterinary clinic or as a veterinary technician is beneficial
- Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments and a have a good understanding of dog psychology.

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to handle animals and perform cleaning tasks
