Technical Sales Representative - Military

The Role:
You will be responsible for driving growth and market expansion by identifying, cultivating, and closing opportunities within your territory. The successful applicant will represent our Military and Aerospace sales division and be responsible for driving sales growth within those verticals.

What You’ll Need:

Minimum 10-years successful sales experience selling to Military/Aerospace customers.

A hunter mentality. Strong desire to exceed targets and goals.

Proven ability to sell solutions through a structured sales process.

Bachelor’s degree or related college/university courses preferred (Engineering).

Passion for customer service and solving problems.

Good organizational and prioritizing skills. Strong attention to detail.
What You’ll Do:
- Win business and grow your territory!
- Exceed jointly agreed upon revenue and margin targets.
- Build and execute a strategic territory plan aimed at developing a robust pipeline of opportunities with both new and existing customers.
- Master communicating the value of our technology, products, and services to customers through a structured customer-centric sales process.
- Book and deliver structured sales calls focused on adding value, solving problems, and building solutions for potential clients.
- Negotiate to close sales with aim of providing a mutually beneficial outcome for both the company and the customer.
- Collaborate with inside sales to submit compelling, accurate, and winning bids for business.
- Collaborate with Military Sales lead to Identify and help complete, qualify, comply, and win customer RFP/RFQ’s.

Actively nurture and engage potential customers within territory through various tactical outreach methods (cold, networking, tradeshows, referrals etc.).
- Provide a sales forecast while tracking and reporting on key performance metrics related to business development and sales activities.
- Learn and utilize company sales technology stack.
- Grow and nurture an up-to-date and accurate database of qualified prospects and market intelligence while keeping an accurate record of all leads, accounts, and opportunities in company CRM.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to provide industry leading solutions, streamlined customer service, and top tier customer support.

Participate in recurring technical training and continuously learn to stay current with changing technologies, engineering techniques and manufacturing methods as required to maintain an expertise in our field.
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to help improve company performance, strategy, and marketing efforts.
