Job Title: Residential Aide
Scope of Service: Assists individuals with daily personal routines, including providing prompts for daily living skills, skill-building activities, and participation in groups. Provides companionship to clients and establishes a trusting and professional relationship. Works with licensed nursing personnel to monitor medical concerns and observe interaction with medications, as indicated. Reports any concerns or medical issues. Ensures living spaces are safe, sanitary, and well-organized. Leads group activities and outings. Collaborates with nursing, management, and coworkers to ensure clients receive the best quality services. . Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent considered with a minimum of three (3) years experience in related field.
- Prior experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and/or addiction.
- Valid Connecticut Driver’s license with clean driving record is required. Program positions may require the employee to maintain reliable transportation and be willing to transport clients in personal vehicles.
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire. Employee is responsible to maintain ongoing certification.
- Proficient computer skills required, including Microsoft Office and electronic record keeping.

FT/PT - First/Second/Third Shift: $18.28 - Weekend Differential of $19.28.

Scope of Service: The Recovery Support Specialist I provides comprehensive community-based residential and support services to persons with mental health, intellectual, and addiction needs. Provides hands-on, intensive skill-building interventions and supports to enrich and achieve an overall level of independence and well-being with persons served. Collaborates with Community Support Specialists/Case Managers and the program to support individuals in achieving aspirations through person-centered, strengths-based, and culturally competent methods. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must possess a CT Recovery University Certification.
- RSS I- High school diploma/GED required with a minimum of 6 months experience preferred in a related human services field.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain certification within 3 months of hire.
- Valid Connecticut Driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Knowledge of the community support system and basic principles of psychiatric rehabilitation is preferred.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and overnights as required.

Status: Hourly- Full Time & Part Time
Scope of Service: The Recovery Support Specialist II (RSS/II) is experienced in the field of health and human services and has served in capacity of a Peer Specialist/Recovery Support Specialist for a minimum of one (1) year. In addition to providing recovery support services and serving as a consumer advocate, RSS II works in a leadership role mentoring and coaching fellow peers, facilitating groups, and/or develops and implements recovery plans to assist clients in pursuing their recovery goals. As identified, RSS II provides hands-on instruction with activities of daily living, life-skill and wellness coaching, and provides case management activities as required. Reports to the Director of South-Central Peer Services. Performs other duties as assigned. EOE.
