Palisades Behavioral Health is currently expanding its service footprint, and we are eagerly seeking to add a skilled and motivated Clinical Therapist to our team of professionals in our Alpharetta office location.
As a Clinical Therapist, you will play an instrumental role in directly helping us fulfill our mission to help people Heal, Grow, and Thrive!
Specifically, this is a part-time/per diem role in which the selected candidate would be free to work in their spare time and earn additional income. We are seeking an individual who is a fully Licensed Clinician who is interested in joining us on a part-time basis while maintaining any full-time role which they may have. Alternatively, it is also possible to generate a full-time income in this role with our company.
Palisades Behavioral Health specializes in providing high-quality services, and we are seeking a Clinical professional who can help us further our mission and expand our service offering.
While this role has a high degree of freedom as it relates to work schedule, the selected candidate is expected to dedicate at least 10-15 hours per week to providing clinical/billable services to our clients.
The Clinical Therapist role is an instrumental position, and we are seeking a person who wants to grow with our company. While this is a 1099/contract position, we do anticipate that it will develop into a regular full-time employment role in the near future. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity in which supplementary income can be earned while helping people improve their lives and become their best selves.
Specific Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Utilize various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), to address clients' specific concerns
- Assist clients in developing coping strategies and skills for managing stress, anxiety, and other mental health issues
- Conduct crisis interventions as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of clinical therapy
Experience:
- Master's degree in Counseling or a related field
- Valid state licensure as a Clinical Therapist
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ICD-9 coding
- Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Ability to effectively facilitate individual, couple, family, & group therapy sessions
