Assists in managing and Monitoring RF Network performance and reliability. Provides troubleshooting and fault resolution for RF Network Problems. Provides support to NOC, Network, and field Departments, including link design and Site Survey Duties. Offers RF support to other departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in the installation and provisioning of last-mile customer CPE.
- Develop RF designs that maximize coverage, capacity, and performance objectives.
- Manages and monitors Licensed Backhaul networks.
- Work effectively as part of a leadership team to ensure that objectives and timelines are met.
- Manage broadband data performance in both the Last Mile and backhaul networks.
- Work closely with sales organization to plan and prioritize ongoing market expansion.
- Prepares activity & status reports regarding the work and tests performed on the RF Network.
- Assists tower technicians for site works.
- Assists with other departments.
- In-depth troubleshooting and determining service problems on the RF Network.
- Develop wireless network infrastructures and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization.
- Provide technical assessment of requirements and definition from conception to launch.
- Design and validate RF link performance, quality, and reliability.
- Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and adjust equipment.
- Responsible for capacity planning, GSM frequency planning, and frequency hopping by applying carrier/interference (C/I) ratio analysis.
- Recommend site upgrades such as downtilting of antenna and re-orientation of radio additions.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong working knowledge of RF planning process and use of propagation tools.
- Working knowledge and experience with Wireless Broadband Equipment.
- Working knowledge and experience in IP networking
- Experience with C, MATLAB, EMI/EMC, and cloud software and systems.
- Experience with PCB Design, RADAR Systems, Scala, and RF Optimization.
- Demonstrated experience in calibration, antennas, amplifiers, communications systems, and schematic capture.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Bi-lingual
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet applications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, engineering or mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- 2 to 4+ years of RF network design experience; additional experience with microwave network design preferred.
