With Craftwork, homeowners will get an instant quote for whatever they need painted simply by answering a few questions and using the camera on their phone to measure the surface area of the space. They will then make a deposit and schedule their project for a time that works for them, all without ever needing to speak with another human.
Overview:
As a Production Lead for our residential painting business, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of painting projects from start to finish. You will lead a team of painters, ensuring that projects are completed with the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and professionalism. This role requires a strong leader with a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of painters to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to team members throughout each project.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and excellence.
Project Management:
- Plan and coordinate painting projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and logistics.
- Oversee the preparation of surfaces, application of paints, and completion of finishing touches.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure timely and successful completion.
Quality Control:
- Maintain a relentless focus on quality, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds company standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections of completed projects to verify quality and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Implement and enforce best practices for painting techniques, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance.
Customer Interaction:
- Interact with customers regularly to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide updates on project status.
- Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing our company professionally and building positive relationships with clients.
Performance Management:
- Set performance goals and expectations for team members, providing ongoing feedback and coaching to help them succeed.

- Implement training programs and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in residential painting or a related field, with a strong track record of leadership and project management.
