Position Summary:
Job Summary: This role is responsible to ensure food safety and compliance are completed at the highest level of quality and integrity and in full compliance with SQF, USDA regulatory agency standards, and/or federal and state mandates. This role ensures strict compliance to USDA, SQF and GMP requirements and processes. This role is responsible to oversee the general operations of the warehouse and the staff and further to assist the plant supervisor to supervise processes to meet specified plant production goals on time and at specified quality. This role is responsible for all warehouse activities, including, but not limited to shipping, receiving, quality control (QC), freezer organization and inventory maintenance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:

Manage warehouse team(s).

Oversee receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments.

Assign workloads and daily tasks to team.

Monitor inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy.

Ensure inventory and storage areas are clutter free, clean and maintained to the strictest of levels.

Monitor teams to ensure safety and security procedures are followed at all times.

Assign and manage bay assignments in all areas (ambient, refrigeration, freezer).

Review all storage areas to ensure FIFO is maintained and orders are accurate.

Load all purchase orders and maintain communication with Plant Leadership on inventory.

Ensure materials, supplies and equipment are readily and continuously available.

Take inventory and place orders in conjunction with procurement team for raw materials, ingredients, PPE, office supplies, etc.

Run and disseminate reports.

Maintain proper documentation for plant related activities.

Manage inventory levels of both raw materials and finished goods.

Schedule routine inspections and maintenance.

Maintain work areas.
-
Print labels.

Act as the resident expert on manufacturing software, training others as necessary.
