Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care.
- Prepare and package medications for distribution.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies.
- Enter prescription information into the computer system.
- Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries.
- Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines.
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for medication preparation.
- Experience in acute care or hospital pharmacy settings.
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures.
- Ability to work in critical care environments.
- Knowledge of IV infusion techniques.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and procedures.
- Experience with inhale medications.
