Part Time Maintenance Specialist
Towne Storage Management Co. (www.townestorage.com) is looking for a Part Time Maintenance Specialist that can work Part-Time 8-16 hours a week, at our Saratoga Springs and Orem location. Rate of pay is based on experience. The perfect candidate would have a high work ethic, flexible schedule, detail oriented, computer literate, reliable transportation, have great personal skills and be a self-starter. This is a part-time job and requires working during office hours Mon-Fri 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, and Saturday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for helping maintain the daily operations of a site. Superior performance in maintaining cleanliness standards and customer service are required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Include but are not limited to the following):
- Maintain the facility, which includes: maintain sprinkler drip line, service swamp coolers, maintain fresh paint on parking bumpers, curbs and bollard posts at all times, perform lock checks on a daily basis, oversee projects from outside contractors and report results to your supervisor, keep company units, and grounds clean and free of debris, keep all vacant units clean, locked and ready to rent,
- Keep an accurate merchandise inventory,
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License during employment,
- Know the features and benefits of your property and present the features and benefits to customers in person,
- Perform additional duties as assigned timely and accurately.

- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training. College experience is a plus but not required.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read English and interpret documents including but not limited to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write and create routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or groups of employees of our organization.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute prorated rent rate, percent and to draw and interpret various types of bar graphs.
- REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with and solve problems.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the site manager duties the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, or feel and is required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. - VISION: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT: The site manager will generally split time between an office environment and outside tasks. Outside tasks may need to be performed in both extreme cold or extreme heat and all types of weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
