- 5+ years relevant experience in Assembly of Rotating Equipment Manufacturing,
- Preference given to applicants with specific expert knowledge of Client Turbomachinery rotating equipment assembly (particularly SGT 100-400 and A-35/A-65 Client Gas Turbine and compressor packaging.
- RF and Datum range of turbo-compressors) including development and interpretation of technical assembly instructions, build methods and sequencing of core compressor internals and auxiliaries.
- Inspects repairs, replaces, installs, and maintains all mechanical components, assemblies on gas turbines and compressor associated packages.
- Work and communicate with Engineering, Quality Control, Material Control, and other crafts in production.
- Maintain and obey all EHS standards.
- Layout mechanical tubing and use all appropriate tools.
- Inspect, repair, replace, install, and maintain all mechanical and electrical components, assemblies, on turbines and associated packages.

Your responsibilities
- Perform work following all safety procedures and policies.
- Layout mechanical tubing and use all appropriate tools.
- Operate tubing benders to make required lines for oil, gas, and fuel systems in the turbine packages.
- Work with different kinds and grades of pipes, tubing, and structural material for the assembly of turbine package.
- Review, Interpret complex Assembly instructions, specs, schematics and blueprints.
- Read P&ID drawings.
- Inventory, clean and visually inspect all components and stage all equipment needed for assembly and safely offload incoming parts off transport using proper lifting/ rigging equipment and technical questions.

- Notify management/engineering of issues and deviations from print and regularly carry out and document simple maintenance and cleaning work according to the specifications or maintenance plan. Carry out minor repair within the scope of the available expertise.
- Work with management/engineering to refine assembly best practices and Train less experienced Assembly Technician.
- Use micrometer and indicators to measure tolerances to +/-0.001”, hand tools, air grinders and overhead lifting devices
- Make part adjustments using various machining techniques
- Assist and cross train for test and packaging departments as needed
- Maintain a clean orderly work area.
- Perform all assigned duties as necessary.
- Enforce and practice all company work instructions and any quality control system programs that are implemented by the company. Gas Turbine and compressor packaging.
