We are seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to join our international manufacturing company in Cartersville, GA.
As the Quality Management System Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the TS16949 standards through daily operations management.
Key Responsibilities
To perform this role effectively, you will:
- Conduct various audits, including system and workplace audits, and monitor the effectiveness of implemented measures
- Coordinate and collaborate with external certification bodies
- Consistently raise employees’ awareness of quality standards
- Train new employees on basic QMS knowledge
- Prepare management reviews
- Adapt and update procedures to meet individual standards
- Implement methods to improve QMS performance
- Identify training needs based on QMS requirements
- Assess the status of the quality management system as requested by management
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Hold a certification in TS 16949 Quality Auditing or Certified VDA 6.3 and VDA 6.5 Quality Auditing
- Expertise in advanced quality planning, equipment and technique inspection, root cause failure analysis, machine and assembly processes, and problem-solving
- Strong ability to problem solve and work effectively in a quality-focused environment
- Experience conducting both internal and external audits

Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive Quality
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-8+ years of previous Quality experience in Automotive Manufacturing or Automotive Parts Manufacturing
Computer Skills – Proficient in manufacturing software
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Hold the certification for VDA 6.3 and VDA 6.5 Quality Auditing
