Repair experience and abilities must meet the following requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience with repair of Caterpillar equipment and class 8 trucks. Cat ET/ SIS, Cummins Insite, Troubleshooting, Install, remove, rebuild, replace, repair, in-frame, test, adjust, PM service, welding repair and fabrication.
Proficient to expert with all components on Heavy equipment and Heavy trucks. Electrical, air systems, Drive train, power train, hydraulic, pumps, valves, undercarriage, implements, emission and regeneration systems as well as various types and models of heavy Construction equipment. Predominantly Cat, Bobcat, Kenworth, Ford. Subject to and not limited to: Cranes “Grove/ Manitowoc”, concrete pavers “Gomaco”, batch plants, fork lifts, Boom lifts, mixer trucks, dump trucks, lowboy, side dump trailers, flat bed trailers, generators, air compressors. make accurate and timely repairs keeping a clean, organized work area utilizing advanced and basic troubleshooting as well as your experience and knowledge. Must be very proficient or expert with Cat ET/ SIS, Cummins Insite and or Texa.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receives written or oral instructions from supervisor regarding equipment to be serviced.
- Troubleshoot, rebuilds, replaces and repairs, tires, brakes, drive train, power train, electrical systems, hydraulic, and emissions system.
- Weld and fabricate as needed.
- Inspects, clean, maintain, and lubricates equipment.
- Participate and complete training in operation of new equipment.
Qualifications
- 5 years minimum in Heavy equipment and class 8 truck repair.
- Trade School in Diesel Tech or Apprentice Program.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Clean MVR, must hold a valid driver license, CDL preferred but not required.
- Self-motivated.
- Able to work at project sites in all outdoor weather conditions.
- Certified welder preferred but not required.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
