Job Overview:
We are growing telemedicine company, seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience working with in telehealth; ideally servicing patients in the correctional system. **Please note, must have a Pennsylvania license! **
Responsibilities
- Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting
- Provide direct patient care, conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as necessary
- Ensure that all patient care is delivered in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards
- We are not affiliated with any hospitals or clinics; enjoy the autonomy of practicing in the best interest of the patient without corporate administrative interference
- Prior experience in telehealth for jails/prisons/correctional facilities is a big asset
- Clinical work is performed from home, days and hours are per the clinician's choosing (this includes mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.).
- Busiest days are: Thursdays and Sundays - availability these days is key
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience working with inmates and Medically Assisted Treatments
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks software (not required, we'll train you!)
- Knowledge of primary care practices
- Ability to provide health coaching
- Background in internal medicine
