The Senior Project Manager is responsible for initiating, leading, and ensuring successful outcomes for large, complex, and dynamic projects through project management duties. Will work as a liaison between multiple business lines, cloud vendors and IT teams across the organization providing effective leadership towards a defined project plan. Critical to the success of this role is the individual’s ability to manage stakeholder expectations, identify integration opportunities, control project scope, execute change control procedures when necessary, plan and develop business change management and communications and escalate project risks and issues as appropriate. At times, may lead directly or indirectly other project managers, business analysts and QA analysts.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be able to commute to our Las Colinas Office located @ 6221 Riverside Drive, Irving, TX 75039, without the need for relocation assistance.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Project Management, or related field required.
- Project Management certification (CAPM or PMP) strongly preferred.
- 7+ years direct experience in project management managing vendor implementation, software development, and infrastructure deployment projects of varying complexity from concept to completion.. Must have experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Financial services industry experience a plus – Wealth Management, Brokerage back-office operations, or Regulatory.
- Experience in projects to enhance operation transformation, workflow, or client enrollment projects a plus.
- Must be proficient with creating flowcharts, project plans, and formal business documents.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office suite of products, and the ability to learn and utilize custom systems and applications; Must be proficient in Visio.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of individuals across the company as well as external business partners. Must also have refined professional presentation skills and experience communicating with and presenting to executives.
- Excellent analytical, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Must be self-motivated with strong attention to detail and high level of accountability.
- Must have proven leadership skills including mentoring and coaching other team members. Previous experience directly supervising employees strongly preferred.
