Position: Maintenance Foreman
Definition:
Maintenance Foreman is the maintenance crew supervisor
Supervision Received and Exercised:
The Maintenance Foreman is responsible to supervise all crew members and insure production standards are met
Distinguishing Characteristics:
The ability to take and give direction and meet production standards on all properties
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic landscape maintenance equipment
- Knowledge of basic maintenance of all equipment associated with landscape maintenance
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Reliable transpiration to and from work
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional manner
Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability:
- Supervisory
- Drive crews to job site
- Training and supervision of new employees
- Ensure production standards
- Effective communicator
- Ensure the cleanliness of all mowing equipment including truck and trailer
- Ensure that keys to all equipment and vehicle get returned to lock box at the end of every shift.
- Safety
- Reporting any and all safety issue with equipment including truck and trailer
- Ensure the security of all equipment on job site and the equipment yard
- Ensure crew is working and operating equipment safely
- Ensure that the yard remains a clean and safe environment for all workers
Physical/Environmental Demands:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work in safe but harsh climate (rain, wind, snow, heat)
Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
