Position Purpose: This position is responsible for working with prospective employers in a number of different industries to procure both full and part-time employment for persons with disabilities. This is not a remote position.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Present job related crew programs to prospective employers.
· Interface with Program and Regional Directors in selecting types of jobs to be developed
· Determine Prevailing Wage and perform job analysis for jobs under development
· Renegotiate existing contracts to maximum rate possible
· Maintain quality control at contracted sites
· Submit documentation and reports per organizational and regulatory requirements
· Attend scheduled meetings
· Other duties assigned by Director of Community Development
· Mandated Abuse Reporter
Education and Work Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred three to four years’ experience in sales, recruiting, marketing or other related positions. Technical and conceptual knowledge of effective contract development and negotiations, good verbal and written communication skills, ability to maintain effective work relationships with employers and community organizations, knowledge of employment incentive plans and effective contract negotiations.
Driving and License Requirements: Must have own car and provide on-going proof of auto Liability insurance as mandated by the State of California.
Criminal Record Clearance: Must obtain and maintain a Department of Justice/FBI fingerprint clearance.
Access to Sensitive Information: Works with confidential SVS business information.
Pay Type: 25.00 HR, non-exempt with incentives for jobs found and employees obtained.
This position will be covering the following program locations: Irwindale, Claremont, City of Industry, Diamond Bar, and Pomona. Based out of Diamond Bar.
