Main Focus:
We are looking for a Sales Representative who will visit customers and deliver product knowledge while being the first line of contact for Timberland. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, strong communication skills, and the drive to succeed and close business while delivering customer centric service! This hybrid role will assist in-office for 2 days and be on the road for 3.
Your job is to be a primary contact for the company, work with customers to determine the scope of projects, and produce solutions and proposals for the customers. You will partner to convert those potential projects into sales. You will be expected to work the full cycle with clients from order, to invoice, and coordinating delivery. You will be expected to have timely follow-ups and be responsive with communication while developing long-term working relationships with our clients to drive repeat business.
Responsibilities:
Thoroughly learning our products to deliver expert industry knowledge
Lead generation and prospecting for new customers, in-person visits
Prospecting, negotiating, following-up and closing sales
Understanding customer’s projects and specifications
Confirming order status, assisting with product selection
Answering general inquiries, taking messages and routing internal calls
In state travel, set up and introduce our product-line
Offering practical solutions to meet customer demands
Making sales presentations using up-to-date market information
Requirements:
- 2 years of Sales Experience in any field a plus, or some College
- Must have clean driving record!
- Must be personable.
- Able to Build and Maintain Relationships (Networking)
- Provide timely responses to customer inquiries regarding services, products, pricing, availability, product use, and payment terms.
- Maximize Territory Performance
- Prepare and execute a Daily/Weekly customer meeting metric/schedule
- Ability to grow Market Share
- Familiarity with construction, building materials or wholesale distribution a plus
- Must have a Tenacious Drive to Sell and the Ability to Problem-Solve
- Mathematics and Computer Skills are Essential
- Strong Organizational Skills and Sales Tracking Abilities
