Purpose:
Participate in all aspects of Service Order Program development that include receiving service orders from job sites, maintaining and updating service order log. Working with production to create, plan and follow up to ensure that all service orders are executed and delivered on time. Coordinate with accounting team to invoice customers
Primary Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):
· Participate in developing an effective Service Order Program.
· Receiving incoming Service orders from job sites.
· Maintaining/updating Service Order Log for Projects.
· Creating and maintaining folder structure for all Service Orders.
· Interpreting fabrication drawings and sketches to facilitate Service Orders.
· Issuing all Service Orders to production.
· Maintaining Service Orders based on lead times.
· Liaising with Job Sites Personnel to clarify Service Orders.
· Working with Scheduling team to create plan to execute Service Orders.
· Following up to ensure all Service Orders are executed on time.
· Coordinating Shipping deliveries with Scheduling team the concerned personnel.
· Timely coordination with accounting team to bill accordingly.
· Perform other related responsibilities as required or assigned.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- College diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
- Outstanding desktop computer skills (MS Office applications).
- Strong English communication skills both verbal and written
· Pleasant telephone demeanor and effective communication skills
- Manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Ability to read shop drawings is an asset.
- Ability to multi-task, remain calm, yet maintain sense of urgency for all requests.
- Exposed to pressure from deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others to achieve shared goals, as well as the ability to work well independently.
- Ability and willingness to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and undertake new challenges.
