Position Summary
Provides and plans safe efficient age specific nursing care for patients/families related to lactation services. Essential Functions

Qualifications Education
Other Accredited Program Diploma in Nursing Required or
(ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing Required
(BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred Work Experience
1+ years Experience in assisting breastfeeding mothers, particularly in the inpatient setting. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of needs of antepartal and postpartal mother. Required
Experience in assisting breastfeeding mothers, particularly in the inpatient setting. Required
Evidence of ongoing continuing education and professional development. Required
Uses selected technical (lactation) and office equipment (e.g., fax, computer, telephone) to meet patient and family needs. Required Licenses and Certifications
Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio Required Additional Licenses and Certifications
Completion of lactation educator training program with current certification Required and
Must sit for IBCLC exam Required and
