Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Communications and Events Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of communication and event planning, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of our clients' events. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' visions are brought to life and their objectives are met.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy aimed at promoting our clients' events, increasing attendance, and enhancing overall participant experience.
- Create and manage event budgets to ensure that all expenses are within allocated resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute event programs, including coordinating speakers, managing logistics, and overseeing on-site operations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for event participants, vendors, and sponsors, providing stellar customer service and ensuring all inquiries are addressed in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Event Planning, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in the events services industry.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in event management software and online ticketing platforms.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
