Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the position include:
We are looking to fill a Journeyman electrician positions. We are looking for individuals who share the same pride and enthusiasm for the industry as we do, who are organized, and have the means and ability to complete numerous site visits. Other requirements include:
- Reads, interprets, and executes drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to see layout of commercial electrical equipment installations
- Tests electrical and equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
- Installs, repairs, or replaces AC/DC motors and drives, transformers, motors, starters, relays, and hydraulic and gas electrical controls PLC and Control devices.
- Installs repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic, and line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts
- Installs, repairs, or replaces generators and industrial storage batteries
- Do preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems (including power distribution equipment)
- Installs electrical circuits, as well as panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment required to accommodate the CEC and/or NEC
- Works on electrical failures and replaces components wherever production time is often affected
- Corrects connections and wiring on equipment controls wherever incorrect applications may cause harm and dangerous conditions
- Conducts preventive and maintenance programs, and keeps maintenance records
- May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial equipment and connected devices
- Complies with standards and procedures of industry, Safety Manual, and abide by safety rules.
- Be able to be self-lead and able to lead apprentice electricians
Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician position include:
- Must be Journeyman electrician
- Must be able to browse electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
- Must possess communication skills, self-supervision, and respect for safety needs
- Must possess team spirit, and be able to work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering, and out of doors services
- Must be ready to do overtime work if the need arises
- Must have a versatile work schedule – shift work if needed.
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have valid drivers’ license
- Must possess own transportation as most locations are not accessible with public transportation.
- Must be able to pass OSHA training safety related.
- Must be able to drive heavy equipment scissor lift, boom lift and forklifts ETC.
Benefits of the Journeyman Electrician position include:
- Starting Working Wage: $$$ an hour DOE
- Time and half after 40 hours
- Any Holiday work or Holiday travel time is paid at Double time.
- Travel Time Wage is half the hourly rate if traveling out of town.
- Paid Per-Diem a day for all out of town meals is paid on checks if project is out of town
- Hotels, Flights, Rental Cars expenses paid for by company.
- This is a “direct-hire” opportunity and not a “contract-to-hire” or “temp” position.

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Commercial & Industrial Electrical: 8 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:

- Electrical Journeyman License With Colorado DORA (Required)
